McNary at West Salem, 7 p.m.

On the air: Radio on KYKN 1430 AM; video on CCTV2 at 11:59 p.m.

West Salem (7-0 Greater Valley Conference, 7-1 overall) has already clinched a share of the league championship and a home game in the first round of the state playoffs; McNary (5-2 GVC, 5-3 overall) has clinched a state playoff berth. What the Titans are playing for, besides their first outright league championship since 2012, is better positioning for the state playoffs as the team is currently No. 8 in the power rankings. The Celtics would like to get some of their previous swagger back after losing a non-league game 38-17 to North Medford last week.

West Salem's Carson Mella (2) and Brenton Reddy (53) celebrate their victory of the West Salem vs. South Salem football game at South Salem High School on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. West Salem won the game 45-9.

West Salem’s Carson Mella (2) and Brenton Reddy (53) celebrate their victory of the West Salem vs. South Salem football game at South Salem High School on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. West Salem won the game 45-9.

McKay at Sprague, 7 p.m.

On the air: Radio on KBZY 1490 AM.

Sprague (6-1 GVC, 7-1 overall) has turned into a machine in winning their past six games consecutively, including winning its past four games by an average of 48 points. The upset McKay (2-5 GVC, 2-6 overall) pulled off last week against North Salem was a good step forward, but a Sprague team that is No. 3 in the OSAA’s power rankings is a higher level of competition than they’ve seen yet this season.

South Salem at Forest Grove, 7 p.m.

The Saxons (3-4 GVC, 3-5 overall) are in line for an at-large berth for the state playoffs as they are No. 26 in the OSAA’s power rankings, but having lost four of their past five games is not a great position to be, and a winless Forest Grove team should be a beatable opponent.

North Salem at Roseburg, 7 p.m.

On the air: Video streaming at http://1490thescore.com/watch-roseburg-indians-sports/

The state playoff hopes of the Vikings (2-6) took a huge shot last week in a 35-9 loss to McKay, and whether they beat No. 48-ranked Roseburg (0-8) or not their odds of making the postseason are not great.

Lebanon at Dallas, 7 p.m.

On the air: Radio on KGAL 1580 AM.

Suddenly Dallas (4-1 Mid-Willamette Conference, 7-1 overall) is playing Lebanon (4-1 MWC, 7-1 overall) for the league championship, something no one could have predicted before the season. Lebanon’s 16-14 loss to South Albany opened the door for this to happen, and the Dragons’ three-straight wins have put them in position. On Dallas’ rain-logged field, the Dragons’ single-wing offense will be a huge advantage.

Central at Corvallis, 7 p.m.

On the air: Radio on KAJC 90.1 FM.

This game is all about state playoff positioning for the Panthers (3-2 MWC, 4-4 overall). Central has clinched a state playoff spot, but the banged up team has lost two straight and is No. 11 in the OSAA’s power rankings, meaning they’ll have a tough road in the state playoffs.

Woodburn at Silverton, 7 p.m.

This is a non-league game between league teams. Silverton (6-2) has won four straight and clinched a state playoff berth; Woodburn (3-5) is finishing out its independent season against its third 5A opponent of the season.

Baker at Stayton, 7 p.m.

This is the play-in round for 4A teams. Stayton (4-3) won a share of the Oregon West Conference championship, but now host a Baker (6-2) team that is No. 10 in the OSAA’s power rankings.

North Marion at North Valley, 7 p.m.

North Marion (4-3) has a tough play-in matchup against a North Valley (7-1) coming off its first loss of the year, a 40-0 beating at the hands of Mazama. But the Huskies won play-in and playoff games last year when they were more lightly considered.

Amity at Dayton, 7 p.m.

Dayton (4-0 West Valley League, 8-0 overall) has clinched at least a share of the league championship and is the No. 1 team in the OSAA’s power rankings, and the only thing standing between the playoffs and the outright league championship is an Amity (4-1 WVL, 6-1) team coming off its first loss of the season.

Sheridan at Willamina, 7 p.m.

This rivalry game between the Spartans (1-4 WVL, 2-6 overall) and Bulldogs (1-4 WVL, 3-5 overall) is strictly about pride for the two towns.

Gervais at Blanchet, 7 p.m.

Where: McCulloch Stadium.

The numbers say that a Blanchet (4-1 PacWest Conference, 6-2 overall) team that has won five straight and has the No. 2 defense in Class 3A (5.1 points per game) should roll over Gervais (1-4 PWC, 2-6 overall) and win at least a share of the league championship, the first for the program since 2006.

Chemawa at Scio, 7 p.m.

Scio (4-1 PWC, 6-2 overall) is in a much worse place than it was two weeks ago – the Loggers have lost two straight since being as high as No. 2 in the OSAA’s power rankings – but a win against a winless Chemawa team that hasn’t scored a point this season would give the team at least a share of the league championship.

Salem Academy at Colton, 7 p.m.

The stakes in this game are huge for both teams. Salem Academy (4-1 PWC, 6-2 overall) can win at least a share of the league championship win a win. If Colton (3-2 PWC, 5-2 overall) wins, the Vikings can clinch the third and final automatic state playoff spot from the league and Salem Academy would have to hope for an at-large state playoff berth based on their power ranking.

Taft at Jefferson, 7 p.m.

The Lions (3-5) have been eliminated from the state playoffs; the Tigers (4-4) still have a shot, but only if they win this game and get in as an at-large team.

Regis at St. Paul, 7 p.m.

Regis (3-0 Tri-River Conference, 6-2 overall) has clinched at least a share of the conference crown, but St. Paul (2-1 TRC, 5-2 overall) can win a share of it with a win in this game. The problem for a St. Paul team that has scored one touchdown in each of its past two games is that Regis has the No. 1 scoring defense in Class 2A, holding opponents to an average of seven points per game.

Kennedy at Santiam, 7 p.m.

Kennedy (2-1 TRC, 7-1 overall) is on a roll with three-straight wins and has pretty much locked up a state playoff spot as the team is No. 3 in the OSAA’s power rankings, but Santiam (1-2 TRC, 6-2 overall) is in need of getting something going after losing 35-0 to Regis last week.

Perrydale at Arlington, 7 p.m.

This game will determine the third and final automatic state playoff qualifier from 1A Special District 4. Both teams are 3-2 in the league. The difference is Perrydale has a 200-mile drive and the Pirates (4-3 overall) are 0-3 on the road this season.

Yoncalla at Falls City, 7 p.m.

A week ago these teams played at Yoncalla (2-2 1A Special District 3 East, 3-5 overall) with the Mountaineers (3-1 1A Special District 3 West, 4-4 overall) winning 66-6. The differences are that this time the game is at Falls City and it has much higher stakes – the winner makes the state playoffs, something Falls City hasn’t done since 1982.
