Amity High School senior Lindsay McShane verbally committed to compete in track and field at Oregon State.
Amity track and field coach Joel Magill confirmed McShane’s commitment.
McShane is a four-time state champion at the OSAA Class 3A level.
She has won the past two state championships in the shot put and discus and has placed third and fourth in the state in the javelin in the past two years.
She has personal records of 40 feet, 10 inches in the shot put, 144 feet, 7 inches in the discus and 129 feet in the javelin.
McShane can sign a letter of intent starting April 13.
